Typical Duties
*
<ul> <li>Maintain a high level of understanding of equipment capabilities and operations.</li> <li>Able to troubleshoot and correctly diagnose electrical, control and mechanical failures and problems.</li> <li>Understand and stay current on industry trends and changes.</li> <li>Full E.P.A. certification required.</li> <li>Demonstrate an ability to coordinate the overall resolution or multiple customer problems.</li> <li>Maintain personal discipline and composure in the performance of multiple customer services.</li> <li>Keep supervisor fully informed of work situations, which will impede your fulfillment of customer commitments.</li> <li>Electrical circuit analysis capability.</li> <li>Electrical and mechanical component analysis capability.</li> <li>Refrigerant analysis capability.</li> <li>Fluid dynamics familiarity.</li> <li>Air dynamics familiarity.</li> <li>Ability to accurately report problem situations.</li> <li>Understand critical value of clients to Pacific Rim Mechanical and associates.</li> <li>Maintain same day/return call service group policy.</li> <li>Accept responsibility for correction of customer problems brought to your attention.</li> <li>Maintain positive communications with all Pacific Rim Mechanical customers and potential customers t facilitate growth and opportunity.</li> <li>Ability to stay organized for scheduling requirements.</li> <li>Focus on assignment completion to ensure customer satisfaction and timely invoicing.</li> <li>Ability to assist dispatcher with prioritizing.</li> <li>Maintain professional quality information files for reference with supervisor on payroll, billing, projects, etc.</li> <li>Communicate all project opportunities to service manager and projects sales representative.</li> <li>Communicate and reschedule all incomplete work with PRM dispatcher.</li> <li>Communicate situational information appropriate customer contact.</li> </ul>
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience
*
<ul> <li>Must have at least (4) years of relevant HVAC field experience.</li> <li>Must have a valid driver’s license.</li> <li>Must have and provide a clean DMV report covering the past (3) years.</li> <li>Must understand and comply with all safety and OSHA requirements.</li> <li>Authorized to work in the United States.</li> <li>Must be capable of effectively speaking and writing in the English language.</li> <li>Universal EPA Certification.</li> <li>Capable of working alone or on a team.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical issues.</li> <li>HVAC Trade school or college courses a plus.</li> <li>Must understand the fundamentals of refrigeration systems, chillers, pumps, air handling systems, duct work and VAV systems, boilers, etc.</li> <li>Must have an understanding of electrical troubleshooting for both low voltage controls and high voltage power.</li> </ul>
Salary Range

$19 - $55 per hour based on experience (FSLA Non-Exempt)
