<div class="ck-content" data-wrapper="true" dir="ltr" style="--ck-image-style-spacing: 1.5em; --ck-inline-image-style-spacing: calc(var(--ck-image-style-spacing) / 2); font-family: Segoe UI; font-size: 11pt;"><p style="margin: 0;">•Maintain positive communications with all Pacific Rim customers and potential customers to facilitate growth and opportunity.<br>•Program, commission, and troubleshoot Distech Controls and Tridium Software.<br>•Create and modify graphics necessary for building automation systems.<br>•Perform start up and commissioning of controls systems and document properly.<br>•Effectively work with mechanical start up and test & balance personnel.<br>•Diagnose control and mechanical system issues related to control system operation.<br>•Install controls systems when required.<br>•Work with subcontractors to ensure proper installation procedures.<br>•Understand electrical systems, appropriate codes, and Pacific Rim standards.<br>•Connect to building automation systems via the Internet, modems, and other communication formats.<br>•Interface multiple communication protocols such as LON, BACnet, and Modbus.<br>•Prepare complete, clear, and concise reports and other required Pacific Rim Mechanical paperwork.<br>•Manage time and cost budgets per project.<br>•Effectively communicate with all parties involved with projects. <br>•Work overtime and after hours as required.<br>•Travel and work out of town as required.</p></div>
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience

<div class="ck-content" data-wrapper="true" dir="ltr" style="--ck-image-style-spacing: 1.5em; --ck-inline-image-style-spacing: calc(var(--ck-image-style-spacing) / 2); font-family: Segoe UI; font-size: 11pt;"><p style="margin: 0;">•Successful completion of technical/vocational schooling or equal industry specific experience.<br>•Minimum experience of10+ years with Building Automation Systems.<br>•Experience with Distech and Tridium is preferred.<br>•Demonstrates strong knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to learn additional building systems as required. <br>•Must have working knowledge of built-up mechanical systems such as central plants and VAV air systems.<br>•Demonstrated understanding of computers, networks, and software.<br>•Must have a valid California driver’s license and provide a clean DMV report covering the past (3) years to operate a company vehicle.<br>•Must understand and comply with all safety and OSHA requirements.<br>•Must be authorized to legally work in the United States.<br>•Must be capable of effectively speaking and writing in the English language.<br> </p></div>
Salary Range
*
$30 to $60 per hour depending on experience (FLSA Non-Exempt) •Truck/Van to be provided but is contingent on approved DMV report
